About
Barcelona has a thriving culture of creativity and start-ups and students who participate on this trip will have the opportunity to learn and take inspiration from the entrepreneurship and innovation in this major European city.
There will be meetings with entrepreneurial alumni, who have either established their own businesses in the city or work in job roles which allow them to apply entrepreneurial skills. Students will learn about the entrepreneurial eco-system within Barcelona; to include creative workspaces, hubs and networking opportunities which make Barcelona a hot-bed for start-ups – such as StartUB!Lab.
As with all entrepreneurship trips, we will explore how entrepreneurship education is delivered in Barcelona, meeting students and staff in the field, so we can learn best practice and develop new ideas to bring back to and apply within DMU.
The group will also explore creative social media practises, with students learning and applying practical skills.
