Po Lin is a huge Buddhist monastery and temple complex, home to the ‘Big Buddha’ built in 1924, which can be viewed by taking the 5.7km journey in the Ngong Ping cable car. Temple Street Night Market covers multiple city bocks in Kowloon, where crowds descend for clothes, street food, trinkets and teaware.
