About

The University of Science and Technology in Beijing (USTB) and De Montfort University (DMU) have enjoyed an ever-closer cooperative relationship since the establishment of their joint Confucius Institute in 2013. In the Pandemic era, online exchanges have grown in popularity, and therefore USTB and DMU are able to offer students the chance to participate in a virtual summer school this year.

It is hoped that the summer school will enhance students’ knowledge of Chinese and understanding of its culture. The project will also enable students from both universities to strengthen mutual understanding and to build personal networks and friendships.
