About

In cooperation with our partner, Pagoda Projects, DMU Global will be offering twenty online events throughout the 2020-2021 academic year. All events are employability focused and aim to give students an insight into topics related to the international working world.

The goal of this brand marketing workshop is to help students learn the basics of branding through creating a brand for a fictional company which best reflects the company’s vision and values. This will include defining the brand identity and defining a clear a business message.

This workshop will cover various aspects of branding via a specific case study, including vision, goals, values, passion, strengths and target audiences. The participants will be split into breakout rooms and will work on a group project for 30 minutes. Thereafter, we will review and discuss the various results as a group. Beatriz Moreno Cuadrado, Marketing & Business Development Coordinator at Pagoda Projects, will lead the workshop. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of personal branding
  • Learn how to implement your own personal branding
  • Become familiar with the basics of online reputation to preserve personal branding
  • Learn now to establish the relationship between personal branding and online reputation
  • Discover more about personal branding and social media
