Georgia College and State University (GCSU) is a public liberal arts university located in Milledgeville, a charming, traditional southern town less than a two-hour drive from Atlanta. Approximately 7,000 students are enrolled at GCSU.
Programmes of study
GCSU offer a variety of academic programmes from their Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, and Health Sciences, all of which consist of specialised academic departments. Full details of the majors on offer can be found on the GCSU website.
Exchange students will be required to follow a full programme of study for the academic year based at GCSU.

Georgia College boasts over 170 organisations that students can join including 27 recognised fraternities and sororities, year-round recreational sports programs, an abundance of community service opportunities, and topnotch student activities.
Exchange students have full access to the Wellness and Recreation Center, and there is a large variety of activities available to help you keep active and healthy during your exchange.

Milledgeville is a true college town, offering a great combination of restaurants, bars, shopping, cultural events, outdoor activities and more. Serving as Georgia’s state capitol for 64 years, Milledgeville is located less than a two-hour drive from Atlanta, and an easy drive from all the other great cities in the Peach State – Athens, Macon, Columbus, and Savannah.
