About
3 years after #metoo, where are we in terms of gender relations?
Social Circles offers participants the opportunity to exchange dialogue with young people from across the world, discussing key issues. Each programme focusses on a different theme and online facilitated exchanges allow participants to connect across cultures, build meaningful relationships, better understand the viewpoint of others and develop a range of employability skills (such as cross-cultural communication, problem solving and digital literacy).
Activities include two online live group meetings (2 hours each), as well as independent and collaborative activities and assignments. Participation is free of charge and no prior experience of virtual exchange is needed.
Learning objectives:
- Interact and collaborate with peers you would have not otherwise have the chance to work with, in an international setting working on a range of shared tasks and activities.
- Boost employability prospects by enhancing transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and digital skills.
- Develop intercultural communication and language skills, whilst learning about global and local issues in a cross-cultural setting.
