About
Students from around the world are invited to join Intercultural Learning Workshops. This workshop will be delivered by INU colleagues at James Madison University (USA), European University Viadrina (Germany) and Kingston University (UK).
The focus of this session is Story Exchange: Stories of overcoming. Students will have an opportunity to join the peers from around the world in story exchange. Tell your and hear others’ stories of overcoming! In light of social distancing during the past year, most all of us are hungry for connection, especially those who want to connect with people globally.
The session will use the methodology of Narrative 4, a global non-profit organisation driven by artists, shaped by educators and led by students. Their core methodology, the story exchange, is designed to help students understand that their voices, stories, actions and lives matter, and that they have the power to change, rebuild and revolutionize systems. Never heard of the story exchange? This short 3-minute video will help.
Speakers:
Vesna Hart, Psy.D. – Director of International Cooperation, Center for Global Engagement, Assistant Professor, Graduate Psychology at James Madison University (USA).
