About

Kingston Business School (KBS) will be delivering their Global Citizenship Programme to address the needs of growing socially driven student community and help to tackle some of the major global challenges. The topic of this programme is ‘What can we do to influence the future and next generation of change makers?’.

The programme was launched in March 2021 with 8 partner universities and attracted over 170 participants. For 2022, KBS is expanding the programme to welcome students from the International Network of Universities’ (INU) member universities. The programme aims to help participants around the world develop skills for global citizenship and empower them to create a positive impact in their lives, communities and businesses around the world. 

Aims of the programme:

  • Help participants to tackle some of the major global challenges and develop an understanding on a range of global issues
  • Support participants to engage in interdisciplinary learning experiences and develop skills for global citizenship while working on the sustainability simulation game in groups
  • Help participants to discover how to apply skills they gain as a global citizen in their future career
