Rennes School of Business – France

Rennes School of Business is a research-based business school based in Brittany, France with approximately 4,000 students enrolled on courses at the institution. They offer programmes taught in English by an international faculty, with students coming from all over the world, and international research cooperation being a key feature of the School.

Rennes School of Business is considered to be the most international School of Management in Europe, giving students a unique opportunity to learn in a intercultural environment. The Rennes School of Business campus in Brittany is located just 10 minutes from the city centre of Rennes, giving students an advantageous environment to live and work to make the most of their year abroad!

Programmes of study

DMU’s exchange agreement with Rennes School of Business allows students enrolled on the following programmes to study abroad:

  • Business and Law – all Business Studies programmes including International Marketing and Business with French.

Modules will be available in English and further information about the study options can be found here. Exchange students will be required to follow a full programme of study for the academic year based at Rennes School of Business.


Travel & accommodation

  • Travel – the nearest major airport to Rennes School of Business is Rennes–Saint-Jacques Airport. It is recommended to make use of the free airport pick up from the WELL’COME team, or alternatively you could travel by train from the UK via Paris.

Visas & insurance

  • Visas – To take part in this exchange you are responsible for ensuring that you meet French immigration requirements.
  • Insurance – All students are recommended to purchase travel insurance for the duration of their time in Europe to cover personal possessions and healthcare. UK and EU nationals can apply for a UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) which is time-limited to the length of the exchange period.
