About

In cooperation with our partner, Pagoda Projects, DMU students will spend a week in Bangkok in a programme providing the opportunity to explore a new country and grow in confidence as you transition from university life into the world of work. Students will take part in a series of guided events combining business discussions, company visits and interactive workshops with trips to popular tourists sites, cultural and culinary experiences.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and often ranked among the world’s most visited cities. With rich Buddhist tradition meeting lively nightlife, the city is home to all kinds of experiences as impressive as its internationally loved cuisine. And if you find yourself wanting a change of pace, there’s a myriad of adventures possible outside of the city, whether its waterfalls, diverse landscapes or elephant sanctuaries that take your fancy. Further programme information can be found on the Pagoda Projects webpage here.

As part of the DMU Future You programme, you could have the opportunity to head out to Bangkok for a 1-week field trip. You will:

  • Explore a new country and culture. Develop your intercultural fluency whilst making friends, connections and having fun.
